Truth thrives in the open,
but so does the mob.
We’ve traded the hidden dungeon
for an inverted panopticon,
where the many play the role
of the silent, judging guard.
Transparency ensures the scales aren't tipped in the dark,
yet it leaves the accused pinned
under the collective thumb of "Public Opinion."
We see everything;
the question is,
do we understand any of it?
