Legalizing calmness

Systems of control excel at externalizing internal dread.

When the abstract world fractures, the reaction is to stabilize it with concrete structures, regardless of their efficacy.

This is the design flaw of human governance.

The interior stillness is fragile, a temporary truce purchased with paper promises.

A mind seeking order builds a fortress of definitions, binding the chaotic impulse.

Security is not safety.

It is merely the agreement to feel secure, a precarious narrative maintained in the face of inevitable, storming realities.

This quiet, this immobility, represents the price.

To exist within the system is to trade raw experience for structured calm, a transaction repeated daily, leaving only the residue of regulated thought.
