Abstract experiencing

Before the first cell divided, time was just a measurement of nothing.

Now, time is an ache in the joints.

A wrinkle in the mirror.

The green of the leaf before the gold of the fall.

Biology doesn't just inhabit time; it translates it.

It’s how the "forever" gets to know "now."
